Thank you for the advice, but since I will be in the US for only 24 h, I will have to content myself with what is in washington DC.
Otherwise, how does it work to ship whisky between different states? I heard it was rather complicated....
Quiet as it's kept, US mail isn't *supposed* to be scrutinized in the same manner as incoming foreign mail. It does not require a declaration slip.
I'm not recommending anything here... but just in case you're feeling cantankerous, or perhaps just very thirsty, make sure you use domestic postage & packaging materials. 50 stamps featuring the Ayotolla's or Putin's face will probably raise at least an eyebrow ...or two.
