That's pretty much like 'Has anyone tasted wine'. There are hundreds to choose from, from all around the world, and it's very much an individual thing.
Just go into your local supermarket and see what they have and start trying them out

Good suggestion. Still around £15 in the supermarkets I think.

Blends? i.e Johnnie Walk Red Black Gold, Teachers, Ballintines, Chivas, Black & White etc
if so which then we can start exploring your next step.
good luck on your journey of discovery! There are so many to choose from and some distinct basic flavours you will come to know and love.
No rush! Tasting single malt is like a yoga/meditation for your mouth!

Hmmm...Just joined out of curiosity and discovered I'm Member #10. A single forum post so far, from the administrator. Of course, now, I suppose having a link posted on this forum can't but be a help in recruiting ...

Tasted the stuff a few times now. All a bit over-rated for me to be honest
Oh No!!! There's no "Irony" smiley!
"Irony?" Izzat a new tasting note from Jim Murray? ...as in "Seaweedy?" "Peaty?" or "Metallic?"
Has anybody tasted single malt whisky, you ask? I'm tasting one right now! It be a Glenlivet Nadurra. Lovely...
After 8 years of enthusiastic dramming, whisky still springs surprises, and I'm still just scratching the surface.
Marvellous stuff, Mona!
Better get your a*** over there and defend yourself!!
