It is NOT the normal 12 year reserve.
Nor is it the Bushmills Single Malt 1975 or 1982 bottles.
It's name is the title of this post.
Can anyone tell me about my bottle of whiskey?
Thanks a bunch,
Jonathan E. Pratt
I have a bottle of this. I think it was made for the duty free market - kind of a millennium version of the 1608.
A fairly regularly priced bottle for the Millennium and actually the very first bottle I bought which started me off collecting Irish Whiskey in 2000
I bought a few in the distillery myself and I paid £25 a piece at the time. Unfortunately I drank 2 and that is what most people did so they are fairly rare but pop up ocasionally. Probably get between
Can be often see in 2 different containers but that was probably due to running out of the original square box. (pic 1) But loads were sold without boxes also.
They were making between 40-60 sterling but it has been over a year since I saw one on ebay.
If your interested in selling let me know.
I had bought it myself, in 1999, in Bushmills. Then I shipped it back to the U.S. I always thought that customs had confiscated it, and my parents let me think that they had. Then, I graduated from college and they gave me that bottle back.. it was hilarious actually...
Anyhoo, thanks for the info.
It is a really nice whiskey from what I can remember so enjoy
