It seems a remarkable story. Full Proof get remaining bottles of Macnab (and rebottle it?). Anyone know more on this front?

It is a very nice dram with some mellow old fashioned peat in it. You have to give it some time but than it reveals a beautiful palette.
Anyway, I'm greatly looking forward to trying it. I see on Malt Maniacs that a German man, who has collected many Ledaigs, rates the Macnab 95 and the second-best he has tried.
Recently drank the GM Ledaig 25yo from 1975. Very interesting, lots of malty fruit and restrained spice and a definite pastry note in the flavour, but peat is certainly not a factor.
