Auchroisk,Blair Athol,Bladnoch,Dufftown,Linkwood,Glen Spey,Glenlossie,Teaninich.
Linkwood is usually brilliant, as is Teaninich. Blair Athol is good and has a sharp 'Bells 12 year old' finish. Bladnoch will probably be a good lowlander. Glen Lossie is smooth but not especially flavourful. Dufftown is usually dire as is Glen Spey.
Not had the Diageo Auchroisk.
Common notes in this would be lemon and butter, perfect as an aperitif or with cream cheese.
This will be the last you see 'old' Bladnoch, dormant from the early 90's until Raymond Armstrong's new distillate from around the turn of the century.
It scores mid-90's in Murray's Whisky Bible - not my favourite Bladnoch but this is a classic example.
