Postby Scotchio » Tue May 29, 2007 3:38 pm

I recently came across some of this at a good price. Anyone tried this bottling or know anything about it?
thanks Steve

What colour is it?

If it's a deep red, it should be good.

I've had a few sherry casked Glen Rothes's from OMC/Platinum and they were brilliant

There were 600 bottles so it sounds like a sherry cask but being an early OMC I cant find any notes/ references. It's online and the bottle would be green. There's also an OMC Glenury 1980 21yr sherry cask but again I can find nothing on it.

Maybe you should contact Douglas Laing.

They might be able to help you. If it is sherry, it will probably be brilliant.

You would have to be unlucky to get rubbish from them.

Still waiting for a reply from DL, it is an old bottling 2000 but 600 bottles does imply sherry cask doesnt it? although without seeing the colour I can have no idea how refilled.
