Celtic heartland?

Hi!

Can the forum please enlighten me and explain the high price on the Celtic Heartland -bottlings? I know they look good but is there anything else? :?:

Isnt it something to do with Murray mcDavid who also tend to ask a high price for their albeit often excellent malts.

is it not in a crystal decanter? cant remember...not that that would make the contents any better...

Hi there,

I think it has to do with the often exorbitant age of the malts. If you look at the strength you will find malts with 40.1% or there about. Most of the casks are from the 1960s.
The bottles with the Celtic symbols and the high quality boxes do the rest.
