I just received a litre of Glenmorangie "Cellar 13" as a birthday present, and I have to say that after reading some of the past posts here about it, I'm quite looking forward to trying it.
One thing that's readily apparent about this dram is its complexion: it's quite a light straw colour, more so than the standard 10 y.o. Does anyone know if this is because no caramel has been added, or is it more a function of the first-fill casks? As a neophyte undertaking his first few steps on the pilgrimage, I'd like to try a dram au natural as it were.
