The whisky in question is Scots Greys Whisky, the picture on the mirror depicts the charge of the Greys at Waterloo as painted by Lady Bultler.
There is no other information on the mirror as to distiller, retailer or date. The Owners of the pub can give no further information as to the origins of the mirror.
The reason for my trying to trace this is that my father was a trooper of the Royal Scots Greys from 1933 to 1946.
Any information with regard to this whisky will be very much appreciated
Thanks in advance
all I found is that Scots Grey is a Scotch Blend from Grey Rogers & Co., a firm belonging to Invergordon. This Blended exists also as a Deluxe with two versions:
12 and 15 years.I´ve never seen this Scotch at my whiskyshops or in the internet. Better you contact Invergordon I think.
Wandering if anyone knew any information on it such as the value.
I looked at the netherlands site posted above but found nothing.
Thanks in adv, Andrew.
