I have a VERY, VERY OLD FITZGERALD 12 Year Old Bourbon Collector's Item Gift Set consisting of 2 glasses and a sealed 4/5 Quart Bottle of 100 Proof Very, Very Old Fitzgerald Bourbon in a green leather-like box with lock (no key). The serial number(?) is 78177679. Barreled in 1951, Bottled in 1963. What would be the value of this gift set and where would be the best place to sell it? Thanks for your help. Taz

This bottling has sometimes been referred to as the 'best bourbon ever', even by folks who know bourbon well. Bottles have sold on eBay over the past 18 months or so within the $300-$800 range. As much as I'd like to try it personally, I'll have to wait for a generous acquaintance to offer some up.
