Old Ballantruan

Has anybody tried this new peated NAS Tomintoul? I had a few nips at the distillery and quite liked it and found it to be close to BenRiach Curisitas in style and flavour profile.

It's delicious isn't it?

I had the OB and the BC fairly close together and they are similar in style.

Have you bought a bottle of OB?

Have you tried Benriach 21 Authenticus?

Hi Bruce, I've tried a lot of the BenRiach range and find them really excellent, they have some single cask bottlings that are really quite something, why Chivas hid that distillery away I'll never know. I tried the 21 Authenticus last year at WL Paris and again at the distillery this last visit, cracking stuff.

I suspect there is a lot of "Old Ballantruan" style whisky hidden all over Sepyside.
