That means I try to keep my intake down to reasonable levels and remain well-behaved. Notice that I did say "try".
I find that I'm most likely to get snockered if I'm drinking a 40 percenter; stronger spirits encourage me to sip slowly. There's no way I could slug down a shot of Stagg or A'Bunadh. Even if it's just strongly flavored without a very high ABV (think Ardbeg 10yo), the rule for me is to sip and enjoy.

Any way far too much Ardbeg 10. Singles become doubles,became just poor a bit in became another bottle, became a very green, rough ferry journey back the next morning. In side the ferry in the warmth not good. Outside in the wind and rain much better.
