A large number of people rate Ardbeg 1977 as the best whisky they've tasted. being a fan of ardbeg i'm keen to try this. Are bottles still available? and if so where might i be able to get one off the web?
A lot of people rate it so highly because , for it's age , it's still really peaty , personally i wouldn't pay £150 for it (luckily i've got some stashed ! ) but now if you want to try it your going to have to fork out for it . I prefer the iodiney/cocoaness of the earlier 70's ones , especially the 1974 . Slainté Gordon
