Color: Light white wine
Nose: Pound cake, violets, expensive scented soaps/bubble bath
Palate: White grapes, lemon zest, lime, perfumed, intense
Finish: Big citrus, soprano-range reverberations, 60+ seconds.
I enjoyed the previous organic release of theirs which reminded me more of fresh grains, but this one seems to have captured the "old Bruichladdich" character. In particular, there was an old SMWS bottling of 1980s Bruichladdich that blew me away with its big pound cake/scented soap profile. Perfect classic nose -- the only thing I would wish for is deeper notes on the palate.
