tasting notes for Bladnoch 10

finally finished them. This is for the 1995 bottling by Gordon and MacPhail. I will admit it was tough to get a good handle on it as the whisky was very sensitive to water:

Nose: Lemony, burnt caramel and vanilla. More pungent at first than a typical lowlander, then mellows. Moderate spice.

Palate: Has a salty and oily feel. Sherry is predominant or wine. Some spiciness.

Finish: Short and slightly salty. Mildly hot but not overpowering.

Comments: More assertive than what is expected of a lowlander. Overall very average but better than expected.

Matured cask

Good comments, it makes me want to run out and buy a bottle.
