Three times voted ‘Best Irish Whiskey’

Postby AmandaWhaymand » Tue Jul 24, 2012 3:00 pm

Emporia Brands are proud to present The Wild Geese Collection, one of the very last remaining independent brands of Irish Whiskey that has been voted 'Best Irish Whiskey' 3 times, along with receiving a wealth of other accolades.

This multi award winning internationally acclaimed brand is now available throughout the UK.

The Wild Geese Collection celebrates the Legend of The Wild Geese, an inspiring and heroic story that started in 1691. Through their descendants it continues throughout the world even today.

"Wherever you are in the world, if you are of Irish descent, you are part of this story and entitled to call yourself 'Wild Geese'".

A series of presentations supported by Nick Wykes of IP Bartenders introducing The Wild Geese Collection to top bartenders started last month in Liverpool and by followed by Glasgow. Other events are planned for Leeds, London, Manchester and Brighton.

Talking about The Wild Geese Classic Blend, Nick explained, "It's light and sweet on the palate. The grain gently comes through leaving a clean finish of honey and citrus fruit. It is an exceptional whiskey for cocktails."

At the recent launch of The Wild Geese Collection in Liverpool, speaking to the press, James Rackham, Chairman of the UK importers Emporia Brands added "We are very excited to bring this exceptional range of premium double-distilled Irish Whiskeys to the UK market".

"Interest in Irish Whiskeys has never been greater", continues James, "and our launch campaign is therefore aimed at top bartenders and high quality spirits retailers with a strong emphasis on appreciating these internationally acclaimed whiskeys on their own and as superb ingredients in a range of high-class cocktails through the website ".

The Wild Geese Collection is a Collection of four expressions of aged Irish Whiskeys. Before it is matured in single use white oak bourbon barrels, it is made through a unique double distillation process, which slows the distillation down, resulting in a much more enriched whiskey.
