Is Talisker 20 year old a "limited edition"?

Postby khtoepfer » Sat Jun 26, 2004 8:37 pm

I am interested in sampling the Talisker 20 year old, but the tariff here in my home state of Washington (USA) is fairly steep. I was wondering if anyone knows whether the Talisker 20 year old is to be a regular item from the distiller in the foreseeable future, or is it a limited edition, for which there are no plans to release further quantities of the expression. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

As far as I know they've so far released two 20 year old bottlings, one from sherry casks a the other from bourbon casks.

I've tried the sherry cask-one and it was a superb dram.

I do belive they will release, as long as they've got enough old, good casks, more of this type. (At least I hope so)
