Probably a fair dose of wheat and some barley as well as the constituents you've mentioned, NSF... which is typical of Canadian whiskies. Truth be told, I don't concentrate too much on the grain makeup of most established Canadians, as the casks utilized almost always play a much more important role in the resulting product.

By the way, I too very much enjoy this particular whisky (not to mention the comparably aged Wiser's).

The problem is that Gibson's 18yr atthe LCBO is now ~$65 for a bottle. For that kind of coin, I'll pass...

Frodo, Gibson's 18 runs $46 a bottle in New Brunswick. For that price, it's worth it. A couple of years ago (ie. 4) it was a mere $32. But, at $65 you could do a lot better. I agree.

I like Gibson's 18. I get warm flavours of baked apple from it. Been a while, though.

Strange that Gibson's and Wiser's 18 year old whiskies keep creeping up in price.
