One sold last week on ebay for £165.00, the seller was a retired william grant & sons employee now living in Yorkshire, he was also selling a Hazelwood 105, but was wanting more for it that I was willing to pay, in the end think it went for £585.00.
I thought about getting the Balvenie 25, so I had a spare, but the wife is still reeling at the fact I bought 18 bottles of the Earl Magnus, while I was in Orkney.
I spoke to the chap that was selling the Balvenie 25, he said he bought the last two bottles that came off the bottling plant and that he was selling one and going to open the other, I will see if I can find the old item number on ebay and get his nickname so you could email him and see if he will sell his other bottle.
Both bottles are just in the standard tube.
Will mail back when I have found his email, only just deleted the item from the My EBay Page, might still be copies of the mails I sent him in my out box though.
...it might be missing a few wee drams though... handling fee... ha ha
Let me know if that price interests you. I also have a bottle that I recently opened and could throw in a sample so you have something to compare it to.

jimidrammer wrote:Nick, this might be a long shot but I know where one bottle is @ $243US if you know someone in the Dallas, Texas area. PM me for details. It's a '78-'03, 750ml with wooden box. It was there when I got mine a while ago and it still shows to be in their inventory.
I don't mean to offer his services and I hope he wouldn't mind, but if they don't ship, you could check with bcrossan. I don't know if he has plans to be in Dallas but he's the first to come to mind.
That price is significantly lower than what I found a bottle at, which was around US$350. That can be a fall-back, I suppose.
