can someone help with a valuation of these please
these bottles are original and the are between 650-700 GBp worth.
no more less.
but you have no wooden box, so i thing you must reduce about 50 GBP each.
don't you mean "if these bottles are original"
or have you seen them 1st hand?
i have seen these bottles not in original, but i have some of them in my cellar - and they look as same as them on the picture.
I think they are original, if the photo is the same as the bottle(s).
I personally wouldn't buy a bottle without the original boxes/ceryificates if i was getting it for the collection, for drinking obviously i'm happy to be buying it without the box as its cheaper.
i had hundreds of macallan Anniversary in my hand - these two bottles are definitiv original. They look absolut beautiful and if you anytime would sell them - i would buy them, really

I bought a bottle of the Macallan 25 from a liquor store a while back, but it came in a red painted box instead of the pine box. Since I hadn't seen it before I e-mailed Macallan for more info.
They sent me this picture of the whisky as I had described it for identification.
As you can see, the bottom line of the 2 falls neatly in between the lines. Apparently, on later releases, the printing was aligned slighty differently. (It matches the printing on my bottle by the way, which was purchased by the liquor store from Macallan themselves.)
E-mail from The Macallan Distillery:
We stopped referring to our 25 years old as the Anniversary Malt in 2004 but the wooden Burgundy box was only in place for less than 2 years so I would suggest that your bottle was released in 2002/3. The year of distillation was removed a year or two before that as this conveyed that all the whisky contained therein was distilled in that year, whereas this was not always the case. There is frequently older whisky contained in the vatting.
I attach an image of what I think your bottle looks like. Assuming this is the correct packaging, then your bottle will contain whisky distilled in 1978 or before.
