Laphroaig 18

Postby Rob B » Sat May 02, 2009 10:44 am

Has anyone been able to grab a bottle yet?

Here's and extract from an email I received this morning:

I have recently been bombarded by Friends wanting to know more about and buy our brand new expression, Laphroaig 18 Year old. To date I have not said too much as I was unsure that I would be able to get any for you – so strong was the demand from all the various countries. Well the good news is I did!

Not a huge amount, but enough I hope to satisfy those of you who have requested a bottle. Please note it is only on your Friends online shop, not the general one.

I tried the Friends Shop straight away, but it is not in stock. I guess it must be popular and there must be some lucky people out there...

Why not just purchase it from another online retailer?

Umm, where would that be? I haven't seen it on any of the online retail shops yet that I know of.

Cheers!

Serge over at whiskyfun just review it, so hopefully that means it won't be too much longer.

 Sorry Wave, thought it was on TWE but it's not.
I must have seen the new 25 and got confused. I guess that's what you get for posting when a little tipsy......

Hart Brothers in Glasgow has it on their website.

I hope this is what you are looking for. Nowhere in the US as of yet and a bunch in Germany.

I'd say this is their own Hart Bros bottling as opposed to the OB being discussed here.

It is now widely available in Germany and should come very soon European-wide. In Germany, it is retailing for about 64 euros
