Bowmore vintage 1974 Signatory

Postby Jhelder » Mon Jan 12, 2009 8:26 pm

Hi,

I came across a bottle of bowmore vintage 1974 Signatory (in a blue velvet, half open box). I know little of this edition, altough I'm a real fan of Islay whiskies.

Does anyone know something about this particular bottling and what is a fair price?

Cheers,

Jim

Bowmore from the early 70's is some tasty stuff. Signatory stopped using those velvet boxes in 2004, you'll find very few of these still on the shelves (in the US). If it's dark in color, more than 20 years old, and less than $250, just buy it.
