The Festival has launched two projects since last Friday – the Spirit of Speyside App and Faces of the Festival film series, here's a little bit about them.
Spirit of Speyside App

To date, the app has been downloaded 209 times, with 1,577 sessions and 96 profiles created. The activity stream is exclusively for visitors to share Festival hints and tips, events, experiences and photos with each other. The organisers will also be posting up information to help visitors plan their trip with details of the Information Points, how to get taxi vouchers etc.
Faces of the Festival
The Faces of the Festival campaign has launched. The first film (in a series of 10) features Glen Grant’s Dennis Malcolm and has already reached 18,932 people and has been viewed 6.3K times. It really shows how the region all come together to deliver the Festival and promote it as widely as possible.
All films will be uploaded to our Vimeo page (https://vimeo.com/spiritofspeyside) and will also appear on our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/WhiskyFestival/). The second film will launch at 20:00 on Friday and the next at 20:00 on Tuesday, and so forth.
The hashtag for the campaign is #facesofthefestival – and of course, the hashtag for the Festival is #dram17.
