It includes: Sazerac Rye 18 year old, which the same mature spicy taste as years past; Eagle Rare 17 year old, which was in short supply last year; George T. Stagg 1990 at a hefty 141.2 proof; and the new William Larue Weller, a new spin on the original ‘wheated’ bourbon.
These barrels were aged 12 years and are bottle at a cask strength of 121.9 proof. At this strength you can really taste the wonderfully sweet and rich flavours of the wheated recipe.
