Scotch Whisky Experience special blend

Postby Rob Allanson » Thu Dec 03, 2009 3:25 pm

he Scotch Whisky Experience was founded in 1988 as The Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre and in 2009 celebrated 21 years with the creation of an exceptional and unique Blended Scotch Whisky commemorating the opening of the new visitor experience.

This is a limited edition bottling of only 498 bottles. Each label is individually numbered by hand. It is non chill-filtered and hence has been bottled at 47.6% alcohol by volume.

This limited edition will retail at £100 per bottle. For those who are looking for that special Christmas gift or if you are a whisky collector, this is a 21 year old that you cannot afford to miss!

Purchase it online at <> and it will be posted out to you within 48 hours. We can also ship to 95 destinations world-wide. See website for details. Alternatively, purchases can be made in the Whisky and Gift Shop at The Scotch Whisky Experience, 354 Castlehill, The Royal Mile, Edinburgh. If you wish to purchase over the phone, please call 0131 220 0441.

I note that it does not specify "Blended Malt", I wonder what percentage of this is grain?

Not wanting to be Mr Picky (i'll leave that to the original...) but wouldn't you have thought that somewhere that is supposed to be in the know about and represent Scotch Whisky , they would have the regions of Scotch Whisky right ? Island isn't a region......
