I read this in just four days (unheard of speed) and loved it. My only criticism is that it went 'off piste' now and then. But a great story.

You can't but admire Bruichladdich's genius for publicity (especially when you consider the size of the operation compared to their competitors) but this is a poor book. It shows every sign of being thrown together quickly (typos etc) and appears to have been written by someone with only a superficial knowledge of the subject who has swallowed the Laddie version of life hook, line and sinker.
Considered as a 200 page promo brochure for Bruichladdich it's fine - as a serious book on whisky 'nul points'.
Forget even the Amazon price. Wait to pick it up in a remainder book store or off eBay!

Better than eBay - we've got some free copies to give away at http://www.thewhiskychannel.com
Hurry now while stocks last!

It's a simple quiz.

Hi Ian, thanks for the heads up, but I don't see any "give away" on the site...

Just got a copy of this myself on Wednesday. Finished already. Really enjoyed it to be honest. Good to read about the people behind the brand.
