99 Drams of Whisky The Accidental Hedonist's Quest for ...

Postby Muskrat Portage » Sat Nov 20, 2010 3:37 am

Mrs Musky picked this up for me when she was unable to track down a bottle of Kichoman for me this past weekend in Toronto.

Kate Hopkins writes like I think, on this, her sojourn around Ireland searching for the origins of whisky. Needless to say there are some plain spoken gems in her writing that appeal to my view of the world. I find it a great book to browse through in my Whisky Lair, dram in hand.

The full, long winded title is:
99 drams of Whiskey
"The Accidental Hedonist's
Quest for the Perfect Shot And the
History of the Drink"

I'm reading it now (about half way through) and I find it nice, light reading with a few gems about whisky tossed in. I'd recommend it to anyone with any interest in whisky.
