This is a great publication - I'm always reading bits of it. Loads of interest and excellent value. :D

and in a few months, the 2011 version should be available. Longing for reading it. The Malt Whisky Yearbook is a very nice book, perfect for a long flight or during your vacations, when it is too hot to drink whisky :-)

Add some ice, man...

I am not not of chlorinated ice cubes and prefer to taste it neat, with a dash of tastless water . With 35°C like last saturday, it is not the best time. Fortunately, I have a backlog of tasting notes sufficient to last until the end of year, if needed.

I think I will simply taste my whiskies on cooler days (e.g., after a storm) :D but the pebbles are indeed a good idea.
