This delightful, anecdotal, fact filled book is littered with whisky history both modern and old.
It doesn't skimp on corporate take-overs, still a very pertinent topic, nor on the joys of blended whisky, which is refreshing.
Many a time you are made to feel inferior if you enjoy a good blend. Single malts may be where it is at, but blends still make up 90% of the market so Richard and Gavin's book is a big up to the makers, blenders and drinkers of that drink.
I'd thoroughly recommend this book.
