Whiskies unavalible in the States

Postby ilsoo » Wed Dec 11, 2002 12:49 am

I have a friend in England right now coming home to the states in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend a single malt only avalible in the UK?
Thanks.

From what Oliver says elsewhere, Macallan Elegancia isn't available in the States (and only in duty free here). Damn good stuff, BTW.

I agree with Gate about The Macallan Elegancia, but also with Bartok the Distillers Editions from the Six Classics are good. Damn good stuff.(Or if your friend is very wealthy, perhaps a nice Macallan 60 Y old from the World of Whiskies)

How about something from UDV's Flora and Fauna range such as Inchgower, Dailuaine or Mortlach which are all fantastic
