<B>First it was the Springbank 21 yr old - pretty much impossible to find.
Now stocks of the Bruichladdich 20yr old are also almost gone.
And next, well thats going to be the Ardbeg 17yr old!
From where did you get this information? (I've been on my way to order a Bruichladdich 20, but always ordered another peatier Islay instead.)

Ardbeg 17? Heh, there might be shortage after one year (because of the poor harvest) if in this year there will be shortage of Lagavulin 16. And in fact the harvest shouldn't be a real problem since most distilleries buy grain from abroad if there is problems in availability (from Finland for instance ).

Re: Laddie 20yo
The distillery says so and so does LFW!
that is why in the next few weeks there is a 17yo (XVII) bottling coming out ,the 20 yo will be back in a few years time .
There is a 1966 Laddie coming out as well as a 1970 ,i've been told the 66 is the second oldest cask left in the distillery (the oldest been a 1964).
If you start looking at all the distilleries they must run out of the older stuff sooner or later ,after all they only made so much of the stuff!
