Charity Auction

Postby Ileach » Wed Aug 14, 2002 5:31 am

My dear Friends of Whisky

You may have heard that one of the biggest Austrian Whisky Enthusiasts has lost his privately funded Whisky Museum ( had only been opened three weeks ago - it was destroyed by flooding.

Director Thomas Neuhauser could save the bottles but the museum itself was destroyed.

Insurance does not cover the damage and unless Thomas Neuhauser finds sponsors for the re-building of the museum, he will be forced to give up his dream of making his collection public.

We, that is, a group of Thomas Neuhauser's friends, want to help him. We want to conduct a charity auction of whisky where all the money goes towards the re-building of that wonderful gem of a museum.

The bottles will be auctioned on which is a forum for whisky enthusiasts from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

But we need your help, too. If you have a bottle we could sell at auction on behalf of Thomas Neuhauser's Whisky Museum, you could make all the difference.

You are also invited to place a bid on the bottles to help Thomas Neuhauser.

Please contact me on if you can help.

Please help us to help Thomas.

Thank you.
