When I was byer for wines in Germany, I got a whisky (bourbon I suppose)on christmas 1989
It was bottled in a bellied hexagonally or octagonally heavy bottle, packed
in brown valveteen up to the bottleneck. On top a corks with a galoping
golden horse. The number of the cask was written on it.
DO YOU KNOW WHAT IT IS AND WHERE TO GET IT AGAIN?
Me and my fatherinlaw would give anything to drink that superp whisky again

<B>Sounds like Blanton's Single Barrel to me (and very nice it is too). You should be able to get it from any big and well-stocked whisky emporium (the likes of La Maison du Whisky in Paris, Milroys or the Vintage House in London, or any number of on-line retailers - there are quite a few in Germany that seem to stock it).
