Seeking any information relating to the history and market value of my "Round the world" King's Ransom Scotch Whisky, containing 26 2/3 floz, made sometime in and around world war II.

Hi Pete,
you have a historical whisky indeed!

I read that one bottle of this De Luxe Blended stood on the table where Truman, Churchill and Stalin sat at when they signed the Potsdam Treaty.
Old rumors tell that in every bottle is some whisky that is shipped over the ocean (a tradition in old times when maturing spirits were used as ballast in shipbodys).

The whisky has been created by william Whiteley blender from former Pernod Campbell Distillers. After the merger with Ricard to Pernod Ricard they decided not to produce this Blended anymore (somewhen in 1974).

The whisky was indeed created for William Whiteley (he owned Glenturret etc), many decades before Pernod Ricard appeared on the Scotch scene.

And the blend is still available today. Contact Campbell Distillers for details.
