I'm am hoping to get some advice on storing unopened bottles of whisky that are 30 - 40 yrs old and older. The one that really sticks out is a 1977 Crown Royal as well as (2) 1981, all 3 are the larger 1.14L and several newer years. As well as early OFC, and J&B to name a few
In storing these, yes I'd like to put some bottles on display but again I want to preserve the whisky inside safely.
Any advice is greatly appreciated

They should be stored upright, protected from light as much as possible, at room temperature. To reduce evaporation, you can wrap the cap with parafilm (that you order at the pharmacy/drug store)
