Bottling from Cask

Postby Paterno » Tue Feb 21, 2017 8:54 pm

Good day all,

I am looking into purchasing a first fill cask of peaty Islay goodness.

My idea would be to periodically take out 10 or so bottles to have a record of the developing flavours before the final bottling.

Other than the expense, which I'm aware of, is there any reason this isn't possible?

thanks in advance!

Hi Paterno, I've passed this on the Expert from our magazine. I believe he is going to address it in his section of the magazine in a forthcoming issue, but I'll see if we can find you an answer on here too. Thanks for posting.

Either contact an independant bottler or a broker like whiskybroker.co.uk
