Carrington Gold Crown Canadian Rye Whisky

Postby sipper » Thu Dec 22, 2016 9:40 pm

I am helping my father to clean out his cellar and we have found a bottle of Carrington Gold Crown Canadian Rye Whiskey that he thinks he bought at least 20 years ago. It was a gift for someone special but for whatever reason, never given to that person. It has remained unopened in a dark, cool cellar all these years. He would like to give it to someone in the family as a gift but wonders if after 2o+ years it would still be in pristine tasting condition.

Yes it would.

Light is the biggest detriment to an unopened bottle. Temperature shifts are another.
