Dimple whiskey

Hi can anyone give me an idea on a bottle of old Dimple whiskey, value.


This is 70 Proof

It was given to me by Grandparents. all i know is that it's an old bottle.

It will be worth more than Dimple sells for nowdays, but not a huge amount. Double at most, is my offhand guess, but my guess may not be worth much.

Bottle in the 1970s, value is about £25-30, not much unfortunately

It is difficult to say exactly and depends on factors such as the bottling date and the condition the bottle is in. Things to look are clean tidy labels, the seal being intact and a high level in the neck. I think the maximum value of a really good 70 proof should give you around £50. In this case, corbuso's estimate of 25-30 is spot on. Any lower and you should know that you are being conned. The only real way you can get a higher value would be to practice how to haggle your way up. Lol. Do you have any more pictures? If your selling online, the more photos the better. Good luck.

I have one of these myself from around 1973, and it's not highly collectible. If it was an even older one which had the wire mesh on it, I understand is much more desirable.
