seeking similarities for birthday present suggestions

Postby shmoo » Tue Jan 26, 2016 8:38 am

Hey,

So I need a little help. It's a very good friend of mines birthday coming up and I'd like to buy him a bottle of whiskey as a present, however I'm not exactly a whiskey expert.

I was wondering if anyone could put forward any suggestions. He's a fan of Jamesons, Glenfiddich and Johnny Walker. (Although it's not whiskey he's also partial to a bit of Hine from time to time).

I'd quite like to buy him something out of the norm and im happy to pay that bit more than your average £20 odd a bottle...Anyone got any good suggestions?

Thanks in advance! :)

Glenfiddich Cask Strength if you can find one or a Johnny Walker Green Label would be my recommendations. I found the last time I had the Glenfiddich CS, it was a sweet whisky markedly unique in that aspect to me. The JW Green is a vatting of single malts to my recollection.

Post what you decide, please.
