i have been looking to join them for a long time, but never had the chance to attend one of their meetings. does anyone know more about them? when do they have any meetings in Texas? who makes their cigars? is it really worth it to join? it seems very prestigious. thanks for the help in advance.

They don't have meetings. Rather, they conduct tastings from time to time (some very large, some smaller). All you have to do is pay up the initial membership fee and you're all set. In addition to being invited to tastings, you have access to their limited bottlings, some of which are fabulous. As to the cigars, they usually hand out a cigar sampler at thei big tastings. If I recall correctly, at the last tasting I received a Romeo et Julieta churchill, a Trinidad (maybe a lonsdale) and a rubusto (maybe Don Diego).
