Scotch whisky from the same barrel.

Postby Merisi » Tue Mar 20, 2012 9:33 pm

Hi,

I've been told that scotch whisky from the same cask can be called: Single cask, Single barrel and.... Single ingle. Is this true for the latter term because, I can't find any mention of this designation on the net. If right, can someone re-direct me toward a website, a brand,... anything to confirm the use of this expression?

Thank you in advance,

Merisi

Hi Merisi and welcome to the forum.

I have never come across this expression 'single ingle', it sounds a bit made up to me.
It is normally referred to as 'Single cask single malt'

Cheers John
