can anyone help?

Postby evertonmint » Sat Mar 05, 2011 8:06 am

I have picked up some old papers etc for whisky distillers and the like. I have some invoices and some cheques made payable from one of the Islay group.
More interestingly I have a ledger from a Highland Spirit Merchant going back to the 19th century, this has entries for the buying and selling of spirit from Glenlivet and a certain Gordon & MacPhails in Elgin.
(yes I know Im a boring git)
The ledger is pretty goosed but could I get it repaired? is it worth the effort?

cheers guys

Evertonmint: Stop by your local library and ask who they get to repair their older books. Simple repairs to their books, the head librarian usually can handle, but more extensive ones would be jobbed out.
