It would be great if someone could help identifying this bottle...
I want to surprise our Granny for her Birthday with a full one of this, seems to be hard - don't find one..
It was a present once, when Grandpa was still around (and helped emptying ) and was given to the them loong years ago, by someone long gone.
It's in the shelf since then, empty. It would be a great reminder of old memories, looking at and of course tasting it again..

We don't know how to search, because there's no date on it, or how this type of "edition" was called, and when it was sold.
Is anyone around who knows something about it, where to look / how to search?
Bottled in the 70's http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-12375.aspx
A miniature ( Italian import!! ) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Very-Rare-Ballant ... 500wt_1156
Yes, I found these two sites as well ...as we see, both empty - the one on thewhiskyexchange.com doesnt say for how much it was sold, but it says "seventies".
And the ebay listing is for an empty one, with 6 bids already...hm, looks like it has more dust on it than ours (..maybe out of napoleons "lost cellar" )
This bottle has not been opened, and any incidental contents are not intended for consumption
But I read his listing, the guy must have a BIG house or cellar!
How much space do 15tsd miniatures take in a house??
"PLEASE Note that these will be the first of 15.000 Scotch Whisky Miniatures ( Yes Fifteen Thousand ) that I will be selling over next year or so. This collection was one of the very best collections and one that I stopped collecting about 15 years ago. There will be some of the very best and oldest miniatures Single Malts and Blends coming up for sale. Going back over a 100 years old., buyer pays postage or can be collected in Glasgow"
