An odd fate, nevertheless, for bottle number one of Laphroaig's most prestigious bottling of all time. You'd think it would be at the distillery in a glass case.
Who would 'accidentally' open one though - to be fair there were occasions when I was tempted...
Must've been a few on tasting that night!

However I am sure there is a market for an open bottle. An enterprising con-person could easily top it up, use a replacement / forged foil cap, and away you go. You may have to spirit away from the all seeing eyes of the WL forum though!
