The very worst dram I ever had was a Littlemill--I think I can still taste it--but I've heard tell that there have been some decent ones, at least, and I'd love to try one. I gather they were very spotty in their last years.
The proof is normally because it's not the law (40°) when it was bottled.
This malt is a cask strenght , the bottler have refuse an addition of alcool because it was perfect for him. The bottler is the man who have bottled lot of beautiful Bowmore in the 70th.
This Littlemill is a sherry cask , 87 bottles for this cask and a very execptionnal product.
i must admit littlemill is not highly regarded so lowers the value to collectors
