1968 bottle of dewers

Postby gsanta » Thu Sep 28, 2006 5:57 am

Hello..
I was just curious if a bottle of sealed and unopened 1968 dewers scotch has an value to it? I was recently going threw some of the things my late father-in-law left to me and found many bottles of whisky. I also found a bottle of 1970 Canadian VO whisky.
If anyone could give me any info as to the value of these things, it would be much appreciated.

Hi gsanta, Unfortunately I do not know about the Dewers but in relation to the Canadian VO if it's Seagram's that is actually not worth very much. I bought a bottle of 1972 for less than 10Euro and I did not think it was very nice :(

is this the Dewers you have?

If so it may be worth something but I would not know exactly what.

Whiskeyexchange.com have a few bottles for sale but have no prices listed. So that means you must ring/email to find out, usually means decent money though.
