heather dew scotch whisky help me?

Postby ps.smile4me » Fri Aug 25, 2006 3:30 am

I have a jug of heather dew scotch whisky that was given to me by my father a long time ago, My father gave it to me and said i have had this old scotch a long time and im going to give this to you as a promise that i will come up and see you and we will open it. Well many years later, dad did come up at New Years from TX and I had forgot about the jug of Heather Dew Scotch Whisky by Mitcheal Brother inc. imported from Scotland. He also forgot and we never drank it and my father died that summer. Now I have this full jug that is still in the box that it came in and an extra corkcap for recaping after you open it Im wonder can anyone help me to find out its value?[/img]

It's not worth to me what is to you. Go visit your father at the cemetery and drink it with him.

I can only echo the sentiments above, enjoy it and remember.

Yeah, I agree with the above - it would be a fine gesture and you would keep your promise....

Sorry for your loss

Hello all, new to this and not sure how to start a new post; therefore, I hope to tag on to this one. Does anyone know what an unopened bottle of Heather Dew Blended Scotch Whisky is worth. The bottle as a label that reads Distilled in Scotland and bottled in the United Kingdom under Government Supervision. I'm trying to determine if I should open andaily drink or put it away for a rainy day.
Thanks, Good day!
