Johnnie walker blue label - advice please

Postby Kahncolt » Thu Mar 16, 2017 8:54 am

So I have a sealed bottle of Johnnie Walker blue label whisky that I think I'd like to try and sell. I'm not a huge whisky drinker (sorry! ) and as I've not long had a baby the money would be better for me. I've had a look at eBay and it seems that I can probably sell this as a collectible bottle to circumnavigate the restrictions on alcohol sales. But does this actually work?

However this is a 75cl bottle too. This seems an odd size to me, as I was under the impression that the modern bottle size was 70cl. Does this mean that this is potentially more than 20 years old and can be sold as alcohol? Or does it need to be a 20+ year on the label for this method?

Also any advice as to whether an auction or BIN sale would probably be best for me? What should my start price/BIN price be?
