I am wondering if anyone has heard of a Clan Campbell whiskey that comes in a gold box with "Duke of Argyll" (as well as a graphic of his signature in red) printed on it. I don't recall exactly how old it is, but it is probably very old at this point, as it was given as a gift some 15 to 20 years ago.
Any info about this, or even a hint as to where I could find more information would be greatly appreciated.
Must have been a limited Edition from Campbell Distillers, and later they where taken over by Pernod Ricard. I believe there's some amount of Edradour in it. It's a quite nice blend. Does your edition give an age statement? I think if you are a collector, then save it, if you are a true connoisseur, then just open the bottle...
