Old Comber is a pot still whiskey from the Comber distillery in N.Ireland. The distillery closed in the 1950s, but some casks survived and they were bottled more than 30 years after the distillery closure. From the taste, I wouldn't be surprised if the mash also included some rye. Taste is a bit too woody (I feel), and it probably would have been a really wonderful whiskey at, say, 20 y.o.
I got my bottle a few years ago for £50, but prices have gone up quite a bit since then; I've seen asking prices over £250.
